Welcome to the Western Nevada Regional Training Program! 

We invite you to join in the many professional and collegial activities that have become the foundation of our existence.  With today’s societal changes, increased accountability on schools, and the focus on standards-based education, there is a need for educators to look at teaching and learning in an in-depth, objective way. In schools, teaching is a procedure with the goal of student learning.  However, sometimes, in schools there is no common language or learning to objectively discuss the methods teachers, counselors, and administrators use to accomplish that goal.  The WNRTP provides that common language and learning to promote the teaching and learning of school administrators, teachers, counselors, and students in order to implement Nevada’s academic and career and technical education standards.
